The 2017 Corvette Grand Sport has a one of a kind engine. With a 6.2 liter LT1 V-8 that produces 460 horsepower (HP) and 465 foot-pounds of torque, you’re bound to have yourself a fun weekend adventure. Whether you’re taking this to the canyons or along the beaches in sunny California or you’re driving this thing to its limits on the track in Florida, you’re bound to hear your eardrums pop.
With this brand new 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, you’re pretty much guaranteed to have fun! The question is, can you handle it? Also, is it faster than the Z06? Good question. Let’s see.
From many reviews on different forums, blogs, and sites, the new Grand Sport is a totally different styled car than the Z06. The Z06 is noted to be a track car vs the Grand Sport, which can be used for track although the Z06 has much better suspension, brakes, etc. Do note that the Grand Sport also does not come with a supercharger.
The Grand Sport starts around $68,000 where the Z06 starts from around $83,000.
After all, it’s your pick. If you want the best of the Corvette’s, you might want to go with the Z06. Something less expensive?, go with the Grand Sport.
