A sheriff is calling his deputy “one of the luckiest men in America” after a shootout in a warehouse in New Orleans, Louisiana. The suspect tried to steal tires and rims from the warehouse. The suspect had a gun and tried to shoot the deputy when his gun malfunctioned. The deputy fired 6 shots killing the suspect.
The suspect was a 17 year old boy. The father of the kid said that he understood and that there was nothing else the officer could’ve done.
